Fast Track: On the Fast Lane
With the option "Fast Track" the semester abroad is omitted and you shorten your internship period. This allows you to complete your master's degree in only 3 semesters with 90 ECTS. Prerequisite: you bring 210 ECTS from your Bachelor (an alternative admission to Fast Track is possible via demonstrated work experience or by taking the ISM Pre-Master). Get a Master's of Finance Degree - Become a Financial Expert
The Master in Finance at ISM expands your knowledge in the areas of accounting, taxation, financial law, controlling and financial rating and trains you to become an expert in financial management. This program will sensitize you to current finance-related topics, enabling you to develop a comprehensive understanding of the interrelations between markets.
The intensive exchange with lecturers with hands-on experience in the field of finance accompanies you during your entire master's of finance program and prepares you optimally for a successful career after your graduation of the Finance master.
The curriculum of the M.Sc. Finance program offers you a wide range of exciting information on the subject of financial management. You will also gain more in-depth knowledge of data-driven subjects such as quantitative finance, financial planning and rating, risk management, investment banking, controlling and auditing.
You will then apply the theoretical knowledge you have acquired in the Finance Master's program via numerous projects that require teamwork to solve real-life problems in corporate financial management and present your results to the class or in front of the company.
ISM is AACSB accredited
ISM has been recognized at the highest level by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and is currently the only private German university of applied sciences holding the AACSB accreditation. After years of dedicated effort, ISM has now been granted the AACSB accreditation which is an important seal of quality which certifies excellence in research and teaching. The key requirements for receiving the prestigious accreditation are: highest quality in teaching, committed lecturers who proactively support students, successful cooperation with companies and international universities as well as very good career entry opportunities for graduates. In the current CHE university ranking for Master's degree programs, the ISM was rated very positively for all seven campuses. ISM achieved four out of five stars in all ten categories.

Moritz Petri spent five months at Boston University for his study abroad semester during his Finance Master. The US-fan also used the proximity to Canada, New York, Washington and Chicago to discover the country. "We really experienced a lot and had a lot of fun," says Petri. How Can I Apply for a Master in Finance?
In order to pursue a Finance Master degree at ISM, the university conducts an internal admission exam. This tests your personality as well as your motivation and skills. The Master of Finance is not restricted by a “Numerus Clausus” (NC).

ISM Awards DAAD Prize
For more than ten years, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has been awarding outstanding achievements of foreign students at German universities. 21-year-old Annika Razroeva graduated from the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow with a bachelor's in Economics, Statistics and Accounting and then specifically searched for an international finance degree abroad. Since fall semester 2018/2019 she is studying M.Sc. Finance at the ISM in Dortmund.
