ISM is AACSB accredited
ISM has been recognized at the highest level by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and is currently the only private German university of applied sciences holding the AACSB accreditation. After years of dedicated effort, ISM has now been granted the AACSB accreditation which is an important seal of quality which certifies excellence in research and teaching. The key requirements for receiving the prestigious accreditation are: highest quality in teaching, committed lecturers who proactively support students, successful cooperation with companies and international universities as well as very good career entry opportunities for graduates. Master in International Management - Where International Managers Are Built
With an International Management Master you can build specifically on your previous international business knowledge, further develop your management and organisational skills and kick-start a leading position in business.
In this full-time postgraduate management program, general management theory, analytics & practice are closely interlinked. In addition to the practice-oriented business management content, you can also choose your own individual focus: weather accounting and finance, marketing or operations management - all the wide range of skills you need as a future organisation manager will be taught in this multi-disciplinary management programme.
The integrated practical, real-life case-studies, study excursions and internships offer you extensive opportunities to gain hands-on, relevant work experience, practice problem-solving and prove yourself in various areas. In the most recent CHE university ranking for Master's degree programs, ISM was rated very positively for all seven campuses. ISM achieved four out of five stars in all ten categories. Fast Track: On the Fast Lane to Your Master in International Management
When you choose the option "Fast Track" the semester abroad is omitted and you shorten your internship period. This allows you to complete your master in international management degree on-campus in only 3 semesters and with 90 ECTS. Prerequisite: you bring 210 ECTS from your Bachelor (an alternative admission to Fast Track is possible via demonstrated work experience or by taking the ISM Pre-Master). Gain International Student Experience in Management
The Masters in International Management program includes a semester abroad at one of around 190 partner universities abroad. By studying abroad, you will get cutting-edge international and inter-cultural business education:
- get expertise in international business tactics and economics,
- intensify your intercultural management skills and
- possibly even obtain a second international post-graduate degree (double degree in International Management) from one of our participating partner universities.
Since the masters of management is taught entirely in English language, you will be well prepared for negotiations and cross-cultural cooperation projects after completing your studies.

Experiencing Contrasts in Mexico
Sven Goldammer has been studying for five months at the Tec de Monterrey in Guadalajara, Mexico's second largest city. Together with fellow ISM students and some Mexicans, he has rented a house and lived right in the middle of Mexican life. Life in Mexico is characterized by contrasts: rich and poor, desert and jungle, crime and warmth. It has been an unique life and study experience for him.
How Can I Apply for the MSc Management?
In order to study international management at ISM, our university conducts an internal admission test in order to test your personality, motivation and skills. The International Management Master is not restricted by a “Numerus Clausus” (NC), so your overall skills count more than your grades.
