Approximately one in two tablets worldwide is manufactured using a Fette Compacting tablet press. The student group’s task: The optimization of the production process should be made easier for pharmaceutical producers. "During these two months, we really applied what we have learned at ISM," comments Shih Ding Li. "Additionally, we learned how to work in a team to solve the problem, which from my perspective, is the most valuable lesson."
After finishing the project, the students could present their results to the company representatives. "It was great to see how quickly they got to grips with the topic and how they implemented the task in such a short time to fit our expectations," says Doreen Dunst, Application Specialist at Fette Compacting. In addition, the company offered jobs as working students to the participating students. "Cooperating with industry partners is very important to us," comments ISM teacher Veith Tiemann. "And we really have great partners who value our collaboration."
